For those without any kanji reading ability, here’s a breakdown –

• this is the Okamoto Animal Hospital
• we won’t worry too much about the animal hospital part
• Okamoto is made up of two characters, hill and base
• The character for hill usually looks like this :

but in this vet’s sign, it’s been made to look like a dog’s face.

I found this very entertaining on my way back from the shops today.

Perhaps I need to get out more.
