There’s a lot to like about Osaka. The castle is certainly one of those things. Perhaps an attraction within the grounds that might surprise you lies within a Lawson convenience store.
Yup, that’s right. This week’s Static Life Steam Locomotive lives inside a glass house on one side of a Lawson.
There’s not much more to tell about this train to be honest – my Google fu has let me down here somewhat. I do remember reading that it used to be out in the open until quite recently and then it was enshrined here.
The harsh glare of the conbini lights make it quite hard to get a decent picture to be honest, so in lieu of all that, please enjoy this bonus drive wheel from an 8620 class out the front of the store.
