I swear we have the weirdest decorations in the office. (The title is a callback to this post and the punchline to one of my favourite jokes of all time.)

It feels like there’s been entirely too much city and not enough hills or sea round here of late. Will have to fix that. When I get some time off.

I’m very into these visuals of Christmas at the moment. They just seem so un-Japanese in terms of content, a representation of a Christmas that never was to evoke a nostalgia for things that never happened. Which, come to think of it, isn’t all that different from how these images work in the West either.
