I’ve always felt like empty playgrounds have an interesting melancholy feel to them. Throw in a bit of rain and they seem to have a whole different personality.
But you don’t need rain for a playground to be engaging, particularly in Japan, where playgrounds also often have some pretty creative fittings & fixtures… as I’m sure you can see for yourself.
NB: there’s a little bit of craftmanship gone into these images but I’ve mostly been collecting photos rather than trying to take banging shots.
