One thing that I, a godless heathen, find immensely positive about religions is the way they facilitate the creation of places for reflection, contemplation: places for figurative & literal deep breaths. This buddha in the middle of nowhere on the outskirts of a town in the middle of nowhere was one such place. A healthy dose of muted admiration & quiet pause is just what I needed. Thanks, big lad.
