As you may have surmised from the previous post, I took a trip back to Japan over Easter. Expect continued photo dumps for the next few Sundays.
This week, it’s the turn of Meigetsuin, 明月院 – a little haven of peace set back aways from the trains that thunder through the temple grounds of Engaku-ji just down the road.
I’ve been to Meigetsuin plenty of times before, so I was looking more at little details that caught my eye rather than shots of its famous circular window that you’ve probably seen about the internet. It’s also famous for its hydrangea – but I was too early for them. Nonetheless, I’m still pleased with these images. They hit the vibe of Meigetsuin for me.
