Today marks the 6th anniversary of the completion of my first ever Daft List: The 52 Fujis, which saw me making a list of every station in Japan with the word ‘Fuji’ in its name.
Then I visited every. single. one.
Couple of issues with this: I missed a few… so it is more like sixty Fujis rather than fifty-two. Slightly larger issue: I included all Fujis. Even ones with a different character than the mountain. Should have stuck with the latter option, to be honest – there are only twenty of them(!)
Anyway, to mark this auspicious occasion anniversary, I made a field guide you can download should you wish to also pursue this dream.
(I’d advise you to stick to only the Fujis with the same kanji as the mountain. That makes more sense and will halve the time it’ll take you.)
